Tara Skryne Preservation Group

The Tara Skryne Preservation Groups is a volunteer, non-politically affiliated organisation comprised of members of various groups and individuals who stood against the route of the M3 Motorway through the Tara Skryne Valley.

After intense campaigning for a re-route out of the Valley which ultimately failed despite best efforts, we stand together to demand the preservation of what remains of this ancient landscape i.e. its protection against further inappropriate development, as well as greater protection for our National Monuments and sacred places countrywide.

This call received the backing of the World Archaeological Congress in 2008.
